Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() My pirate edition on the mac wouldn't connect. Applying the fix, and delete gnutella.net did nothing. I copied over the frostwires gnuetlla.net to the limewires folder and boom it worked. So a little fix for those who do not know. |

![]() If failing the advice of the advice above. LimeWire Pirate Edition works best when it's a clean install. ie: delete the previous LW preferences folder (but make a backup of the downloads.dat file first.) If you are not using the LW Pirate Edition, then check here, http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...e-edition.html see post #3 if you are using Windows. File_Girl removed some unnecessary & some now non-working items such as the AVG. Let's hope some FrostWire users stick to version 4 & do not update to the upcoming FW 5 version which will no longer use gnutella network but only torrents. I had my party on what I thought about that in a recent post, I'd best not advance on that. lol ![]() |
