it was certainly NOT ok in the form used here, which was just a very lame, pointless, post directed at nothing other than all german speaking ppl...

I guess the problem around the world is that there is a general lack of education regarding that time of history.
I've got students coming to my classes wearing Swastika shirts and stuff like that. The only thing I can do is to explain why I've got a problem with these kind of shirts. And I usually do it quite graphic......showing them pictures of Treblinka, Maidanek and Bergen Belsen (and there likes)

Not exactly.......and yes, some Germans might get upset. However, as for me, I would react in the same way, if the "joking" were about the massacre of the Mayan, Incas, or the Native Americans
