 what i sometimes have been able to do is this: when i'm downloading a file, and it hangs, or the users who have it drop off, i do another search for the file (don't kill the download), and keep doing searches, until i find some new hosts with the file, and the download resumes again on its own. might not always work, but i have gotten that to work quite a few times. zbell   |
