Go search for an MP3 by Staind. You'll find a hundred or so ****** who have renamed a hundred or so files--EACH--by adding the names of a dozen popular bands into the file names. I found one guy who must have done this to his entire library.
WHAT THE HELL FOR? It **** up everyone's searches, by bumping out ligitimate reults in favor of spam. Are these idiots trying to push viruses or just screw with the Gnutella network? I add the IP addresses to my BAN list, but this is such a waste of my time. Damn, people suck. Anyone know why this is being done? Last edited by KathW; May 1st, 2002 at 12:27 PM. |
