I'm sharing over 300 quality files, I've got a cable connection but it seems that nobody ever uploads or least very rarely. Why? I want to share

I was wondering the same thing - I've got about half of what you do but i don't think anyone's downloaded anything yet either.

you are probably firewalled
if software firewall: open port 6346 if behind router, forward port 6346 to your lan ip (i.e. 192.168.1.xxx) and enter the web ip (the one provided by your cable provider i.e 242.24.16.18) in the preferences of limewire: advanced - firewalls - check force ip and enter the ip. et voilà you're set. |

Hi me again the original unregistered. Yes I think you are right thanks. I just downloaded a little program called BOOTP Query from http://www.weird-solutions.com/_bin/bootpq.exe. Using this I was able to get my IP address. I placed this IP address in the force ip box and within 10 mins I had 3 or 4 uploads.
Thanks |
