![]() This isn't specifically a 2000/XP issue. There is an issue if you limit your upload bandwidth - If you have set Tools|Options|Uploads|Basic slider to anything other than the maximum - then your uploads will slowly drop off to zero and stick there. If you haven't limited your upload bandwidth - then you have some other problem with which I can't help - sorry. Mark |

![]() the bandwith is at the maximum. I'm telling you i've tried everything. I really think it's something to do with xp and 2000 and the NT system. There are alot of people out there with this same problem, check the postings. The more people that upgrade to xp means the less files that are going to be out there for download.... |

![]() I am using Wondows2000 - I am not having a problem. I don't believe that there is a specific problem with Windows 2000. I do believe that WindowsXP home edition is a pile of cra^H^H^H not very good software. The professional version of WindowsXP is sufficiently similar to W2K that it can be regarded as the same product with a different front end. I suspect that many people having problems with XP are using the home edition. I haven't seen many reports of people having problems with W2k. Unfortunately, this doesn't help you much with your problem. Mark |

![]() Hello! In Windows XP there is a built in FireWall so you might be behind one without even knowing about it but to set XP to allow for uploads is not as simple as just turning it off there is some preferences that needs to be set first.I think that this site might be able to help you and others with this problem: How to enable Filesharing in Windows XP I Hope It Helped!
