dnlded files sound like speaker test patterns

I've downloaded several songs successfully and they sound great. Now suddenly all the songs I download (while the size of a normal song file) sound like a speaker test pattern (different types of static on and off) and the songs are not about 3 minutes long but are 15 - 30 minutes. I know that it is not my player as I have opened some previously unlistened to files downloaded from audiogalaxy and they work and I listened to some files I downloaded from LimeWire last night and they work but everyting I'm getting right now sounds like a test pattern....HELP
