 But when you download something a small amount of data needs to go the other way. Your computer tells the sender that you got that part of the file so it can send the next part. If the sender doesn't receive these replies it slows down or stops sending data. If your upload bandwidth is saturated by people getting files from you then those replies aren't sent as quickly.  |
