goto Tools / Options / Sharing and ensure that you have the shared directory listed in the 'shared directories' window. In Windows it would normally be 'C:\Program Files\Limewire\Shared'. It should have been there already as it is a default when installing Limewire ... I can only speak for a Windows install as I do not have a MAC or Linux system.
