Well the answer may be trying another client... my favorite is Shareaza loads more features, it is Free and has no Ads or spyware... and oh yeah... it works. Don't get me wrong I own Limewire Pro... it used to be my favorite but stuff like you are commenting on drove me to experiment with several others... Shareaza is the best in teh Gnutella world IMO.

On your concerns... regarding requery... it is not really a Limewire thing it is just Limewires method of responding when the file/user requested is not available or online. It is looking for an exact match of the file you wanted. If you wait long enough several 'requeried' files will actually download although it might be many hours.
