can someone tell me how to remove Limewire from my XP, even a system restore is unsuccessful, I don't mind a bit of spyware, but this is ridiculous!,

It's easy...

Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and "Remove" current resident version of LimeWire from there.
