Is it just me or has anyone else been having problems getting files to actually download with the latest release? I was using 2.6.5, I think, and after I searched for some files, some would download and some would not. But now it seems that I can do a search, say I get about 20 results back. At least a few of these ppl should still be on when I immediately hit the download button (probabaly most of the ppl would still be online) but I always get that Requery Sent status. I don't get it, if I'm not going to be able to download the file why does it even show up in the results? I'm starting to get frustrated with LimeWire, I probably havent had but 2 or 3 successful downloads in the last week. Can anyone help? Thanks.

This might happen if you are trying to download from a firewalled host and the PUSH fails. This will not happen as often any more with the new GUESS system that will hopefully be released soon.

Ok. Something *MUST* be wrong with this version. It wasn't like this before. Here's what I did...

I faced my fears and downloaded BearShare. I do not really like the program but I wanted to try any other program and see if, maybe, the problem was my computer.

I am sure LimeWire is a far superior program but the fact is, I installed BearShare and over a dial-up connection I was able to download more stuff in a hour than with my LimeWire 2.7.3 PRO during the entire night (!!!).

Guys, I am still faithfull to LimeWire but... Would be nice to know that a bug, or bad code, or whatever was found in this new version and it's being taken care of!

What gives?
