I highly recommend the following.
1) make sure everything is set to the defaults that is, undo any changes you made to try to get this to work.
2) Assuming that with the default configuration you are able to search and download then the only thing you are looking to do is to be able to upload files.
3) Do some research on how to forward tcp port 6346 to your private IP address.
That should solve your issue assuming you don't have any XP or Norton firewalls installed. Quote: Originally posted by gg58

I am new to Limewire and new to Wireless internet and a router. So I don't know what means to force my ip or router...can you explain in laymens language??? Thanks! |
