MP3s I try to share do not how up in library

After downloading an mp3 I move it to my shared folder on my hard drive but but it does not appear in my Limewire Shared folder. It is the same Quicktime mp3 icon I download from Limewire but it is not recognized by Limewire. What must I do to get Limewire to recognize the MP#s I add?
