![]() I'm using the 2.8.6 version of limewire (latest available when I d/l'd), under windoze 2K SP3, and it craps out in the middle of downloads, randomly, with "Could Not Move to Library", and the progress shows 100% (incorrectly) ![]() Apparently LW cannot compare the file size of the incomplete file with the size of a complete version of the file, although, if you "Kill" the download, and go to the incomplete part of the Library, and click Resume, it restarts at the correct percentage, so why it jumps to 100% is beyond me? "Could Not Move to Library" ![]() should be changed to: "Download Failed - Unknown ERROR!" ![]() and should not set the progress bar to 100% That is all I ask, I love the smooth user interface, and can live with the slowness and processor cycle consumption, for the sake of it being Java based... but this whole "Could Not Move to Library" thing is bulls##t, the least they could do is make a note in the FAQ, because believe me, this will be one of the most FA Questions. And for the record, my mate is using a Mac with OS x v10.2 and he has the same problem... thanks for reading. |
