Today I upgraded to version 2.9.8. I'm using Windows 98 SE. All previous versions of LimeWire have worked great for me and have given me succesful downloads alomst every time. After my upgrade today, I started getting the message "Could not download, awaiting sources" every darn time I tried to download a file. From reading the very long lists of replies to this problem, I see that I'm not alone. I don't know a lot about file sharing and these things called "p2p". I do know that I don't want to have wasted my money buying the Pro version if it's not going to work. Please help. I love LimeWire and want to keep using it. |
