Hello!
What is your Operative System and what version are you using?.
This sort of problem is usually asscoiated with a corrupt display.prop file
If you are using a Mac open it up in Simple Text and see what is written there. If nothing is written then it is corrupt. On a PC use a different app to view it maybe Note Pad. But whatever you do, do not open it up in an advanced word editor. Because that may make the file unusable.
If there is something written there then copy what it says and post it here and I could see if something is missing there.
To find this file just use your OS search tool and search for LimeWire and it should show up. On Classical Mac OS this file is located inside the .limewire folder inside the Program Preferences folder inside the System Folder.
