Whenever I try to close the program then reopen it, the system reports that the sharing directory is not valid, it's always there in the program but I have to create a new file to download to every time I restart the program. How can I fix this?

We think this is related to a problem of write permissions changing on the folder. Assuming that is the problem, it should be fixed for the next release.
