Help!!!
I've download a programm that has an .dmg ending.
When I want to open it, LimeWire starts and nothing else happens...
How can I open this downloaded file to use it?

Use the disk copy utility which should be with any Mas OS. Dmg are disk images.

Roxio Toast should be able to open them on both Mac OS 9 and X.

Disk Copy can only open them on Mac OS X.
