OK I logged on this morning to download a few things and all im getting is the message "Need More Sources"

Any clue whatz up with this? cant download squat!!!

I have about worn out the get more sources key.

Is this something caused by the latest version of LW?

I was wondering if you ever found out about why that was always happening. Y aknow the "Need More Sources" reply. I been getting that alot too. If you can help me fix this problem,I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! :-)

LimeWire will only allow you to click the "Find More Sources" button once per download and session. Doing another search for the file you want to download manually has the same effect as clicking "Find More Sources".

I get the same Thing. "Need More sources" all the time. I was wondering why it says that & what i could do to stop g etting it. Help me out someone!!

Need more sources means that the person who you originally selected to dl the file from is not a valid source. Therefore, in order to download the file, you need more sources (people who have that file).

Will trying to dl from a different host help at all? Or is this the same as clicking the "Find more sources" button?

Find more sources is the same as doing a research.

Yes, trying to dl from a different host will help. What the need more sources option does is start a research. The research looks for the *exact* same file as you are trying to download, but from a different host.

Often, trying to download the file at a different bitrate, or with a slightly different file name or file size will yield success.

Hi there, I'm interested in your Mac config, mine is almost identical but your version of LW is according to your post, 'LW 3.5.2jum206', (never heard of it) when i upgraded LW to the mac OSX version, described as 'Instal anywhere 5 " my D/L speed disappeared ( see my earlier posts ) . I do know how to use and configure it but I was getting up to 25 kbps on LW in classic mode and now it's a slow as a sick dog.
