![]() I can connect with internet by dial-up and LAN. But limewire seems only work when I use Dial-up. As you know, the upload and download speed is quite slow by dial-up connection. Is there anyone can tell me how can I make the limewire work with the LAN? Thanks a lot |

![]() Yes, it is very odd. When I connected with the internet, the "connections" column in LW is active. However, none could establish stable connections with my computer, so I had no hosts. I donot the ISP is resposible for that! Is there anyone has the same problem as mine? please discuss it. thanks |

![]() As you know by reading many of the other posts, lots of us have experienced problems with connections. The solutions for LAN users are repeated too (opening firewall and port forwarding on the router). Once those are set, LW connects well unless the ISP is hampering gnutella connections. THAT is a major pain to troubleshoot. |
