the file i download remains at 0% for a long time, what does this mean?

This could mean that either the host you were downloading from turned off their computer or the connection between your computer and the computer you were downloading from was somehow lost. To resume your download you can do another search for the file you were downloading to find another reliable host. I hope this helps.
