Corrupt Files Setting

It seems that 50% of my downloads are detected as "currupt file" and limewire automatically stops the download. I did click "stop download, remember my answer" and now I wish to change that to ignore detected corrupted files so that it will continue downloading. I've uninstalled and deleted the limewire folder and reinstalled several times but the settings must be stored elsewhere. I could not find the option to change corrupt file settings either. Where do I go / what do I do to modify this setting?

Go to Tools -> Options, View -> Popups, and choose to forget your stored answers.

We'll be adding an easy-to-see "restore to factory defaults" option in the settings area for the next release.

where is tools/options/view/popups?

On the Limewire Tools Menu, these headings do not appear. So where are they and how can I reach all those corrupt files. Also, when I try to delete them from my library, is there a way to delete them all at once? I haven't been able to do that and the alternative takes forever.

To delete all at onse

Click on first file

if they are not in order:

Hold control and click each corrupt file

if they are

Hold shift and click last corrupt file

then:

right click somewhere in the highlighted area

click delete

___________

HOW/WHAT specifies a file as corrupt?

Deleting library files

I have tried deleting many files from the library at once and the ctrl hold down feature does work for me. So I tried it this way. Go to your Shared folder and hold the ctrl button down as you click the files you want to delete. When done delete them. Now go back to your LimeWire library and click "refresh" the deleted files should disappear. Also works for the incomplete folder.

Hope it helps

corrupt...

If I keep downloading a file that Limewire has said is "corrupt," then will this hurt my computer? I also have the problem of at least 50% of my downloads being "corrupt." What does this mean? And how do I stop it?

corrupt files

I saw that other ppl up top had problems with corrupt files, but not as bad as me. Sometimes i download every song that appears on the search, and every songle one is corrupt. Obviously they aren't corrupt, what have i done, or need to do to fix this problem.
