 Check if the Incompletes folder under LW's Library tab contains the downloads that dissapeared from the downloading window. If they do, the just click them one by one and Resume them. If they don't exist there then they might have been deleted by the program if they have been "Awaiting Sources" for a while (this "while" being specified by the number of days you set on the Preferences/Options to keep the incompletes). As I understand, an "Awaiting sources" status equals a "Inactive status" which should (I'm not 100% sure) qualify these downloads to be erased after the specified period has come to pass.
