It should not take nearly this long on a cable modem unless you are not getting very much bandwidth.

What transfer rate are you getting? The LimeWire installer is about 6.7 megabytes, which should usually take about ten minutes to transfer over a cable modem.

I recommend trying the different download links from our web page to see if the bottleneck is on the server end -- maybe the server you tried to download from is experiencing problems. Otherwise, there may just be a lot of people in your building or block using their cable modems at the moment, which can slow things down.
