Can you pause downloads???? If so then please tell me HOW???

I wish I knew. The only thing I've to add is a no. of times, I started to dwnld a hard to get file so I cancelled the others (that were simultaneously dwnlding) to give it max'm chance & bandw'th. Later I re-searched those items & re-dwnlded them & they started where they left off. It might be worth suggesting a pause dwnld to the Feature Request section of this forum.
