i just downloaded limewire so a friend could download a file of mine. its in my library it says i'm sharing 3 files. we both search for the file and it doesn't show up. is there anything else i can do?

Yes.
Go to the listing of the file in your Library, select the file and right-click (Mac--control click) on the file. This should bring up a listing. Choose the magnet link, copy it and email it to your friend. You just sent your friend a "magnet" link, which should connect the friend's machine to your LW and download the file. |
