My download is looping!

I am trying to download an .exe file, and when it gets to 100% instead of saying download complete it says verifying download contents, thewn it goes to 98% complete, then when it gets to 100% again it verifies the contents again the it goes to 98% and so on

can anybody help me? or is the download worthless?

Try killing the dld while it is at 98% and then resuming it (either from the Library or by searching for it and double-clicking on the file that has a torn sheet of paper as an icon). It helped when I had almost the same problem a while ago (seems like a loong while ago now...)

I forgot: stop LW, disconnect from the net and do an Antivirus scan of your HD (if you have antivirus software), just in case it's a virus or something...
