They are very clever as their site is made in the same colors as limewire. I have contacted imusicsearch and demanded my money back. They replied and said they can't find a record of my transaction. I then called my credit card company and had the charges reversed. So at least I will get my money back. Now how does limewire work. What they charged me $37.45 is what limewire offers for free? How does limewire make any money? Is this for a limited time? Please give me some info as I am totally new to this and am now very confused.

The basic version is free, but they offer a PRO version with minor technical improvements for $18,88. But Limewire is open source you can compile your own PRO version so if you want to buy the PRO version its more a donation.

The max you can pay for LW is around 30$ if you get the special CD edition.
