It'd probably be a good idea to cover all the bases so make sure you check your computer's sounds settings through control panel. Also make sure you aren't downloading mp3's from T3 users, and do not continue anything that comes up as corrupt. For the particular songs you are having trouble with, they could just be bad examples of those songs. Try redownloading them and keep the size of the file in mind. For 192 bitrate, a decent rule of thumb is 1Mb for every minute the song should be. So if you know the song you are downloading is 4 minutes, you should probably only try downloads that are 3Mb - 6Mb at 192 bitrate (for higher bitrate the files will be larger). Also make sure you're going for the downloads that have the most users listed, provided again, that they aren't T3 users. Most of the broken and incomplete songs won't have as many users. If all else fails, you can always uninstall limewire and redownload it. But with any sound problems you always have a lot of settings to check on your own comp first. Hope this helps |
