Happy to help!
Can you tell me your firewall types, & Linksys model no. (this is probably blocking incoming requests!) Sorry I don't know what Gateway is!?

Did you configure your firewalls (eg: XP firewall): http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

Umm ... I don't suppose you know which version of BEFSR41. I'll give you the instructions to forward a port for each version just in case & you should use Port 6346: 1. (a) BEFSR41 version 1 & 2 , (b) BEFSR41 V2 FW 1.40.2 , (c) BEFSR41 V3, V4 & V5 , & (d) BEFSR41-CA

You will also need to Force IP on LW. See instructions & sample image here to force ip in LW

After doing the above you should be fine. You can double-check by do the Bug Report check for incoming (instrucitons & sample image) which needs to be True. If it is you're fine.

Yes I do know what version router it is.It's V3.

Ok I did everything you told me to do and the incoming session still says false.

Ok here is what I did.
went into my firewall and added the 2 lines like you said to.

in my router I went to the Applications and Gaming Tab
put Gnutell in the applications field
put 6346 in the port field and put Protocol TCP

Then I put in a seperate line
put Gnutell in the applications field
put 6346 in the port fields and put Protocol UDP

in the IP Address field I put my IP Address and enabled both.

Went into LW and forced the IP.

Then did the bug report and it comes back false.

Thanks for all your help.

It now says that it is true.

ok 1 more question and I will stop bothering you.

When I start LW a pop up comes up saying
LimeWire is not your default magnet link handler Make it?

What is this?

And what do I do?

Make it or not?
