I have been using LimeWire for a while now and have been nothing but satisfied. I occasionally get downloads of over 400kbps and my average speed would have to be around 200kbps. When running tests on my cox cable connection it shows a download speed of approximately 580/kbps. When I went to open the program today it asked for my information as if I had just installed it. Such as, "what type of connection?... where to save files?" I wasnt sure why this happened but decided to check for upgrades and I downloaded the newest version. Now I am trying to download movies which have 86 hosts (all 4 star) and I am not getting more then 50-80kbps. Why doesn't limewire downloaded off of more hosts? If 86 have the file what makes the program not download by more then 5-6 people? Thanks for the help.
P.S: To the people with Pro... How many hosts do you get per download? -joey Last edited by Joviator; December 14th, 2004 at 12:08 AM. |
