viewing downloads
I use MacOS 9.2-Only flicks I can seem to download are MPG-and even those are not all good. Manuy of them give me the message the "software component needed by the movie is not available or could not be found. HELP !

If you had QT Pro it might be a little different. You would have xtra plug-ins/codecs to play some of those movies. Go to QuickTime's Control Panel & select Plug-in & then press the MIME settings button. Now tick all options. You do have QT 6 don't you!? It was the last OS9 version of QT.
For movies you'd get much better support with OSX.
