I'm new to this so don't yell at me lol. Well, I wanted to share a few files mostly some web authoring programs like **** and so on. I'm trying to figure out how to get it on the server if that is even an option. Anyhow. Help if you can. Thanks ahead of time. Amy

Select or create a folder you wish to have your files for sharing.

Now go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Sharing & press teh Add button. Now direct LW to where your folders are that you wish to share. Then press teh select button for each folder desired. Then press the Apply button. Easy as that.

k..but how do i put the names of the songs in there??

If you want to share your files, then see above or see How to Share Folders (click on link). After adding the folder or adding the files to the folder you may need to go to LW's Library window & press the Refresh button. That will force LW to recount & accommodate all shared files.

hey thanx for all the help//i did save it to my lime wire..FINALLY..however..its in the saved folde..i refreshed..n it still isnt comming up..so i have a saved folder in my limewire..but search wont bring up name..

NP - You can't search your own files.

What do you mean library? I was refering to the LW Library window. This window lists your shared folder(s) & download folder & incomplete folder.
In regards to your downloads, for fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. You can do the same with the other folders also.

If you've just added new files or folders to share, you need to click on the Refresh button in the Library window before LW will re-count its shared files. As for new downloads, there's a setting in your options to share downloads immediately.

lord of rings i followed the diagram and in the library in LW they are all red but turnin to black. when they turn to black does that meen that if someone searches one of the songs i have uploaded they will find it???????
