i have an ethernet connection and i was under the impression that it is the fastest....? anyways, whenever i try to download something that is not ethernet, like dsl, t3.....it takes hours. is there some setting i have to change or something i have to do that will allow me to download things other than ethernet?? any help is greatly appreciated.

A lot of people are still using modems or slower DSL connections and these happen to be slow. There is no way around it.
