Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Most likely codecs. You need to obtain xtra codecs for those other programs. If you're a windows user then (a link to a link): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=34465

If you're a mac user then wmp & RP have limitations & in QT you need to go to QT's preferences>MIME settings & enable what plug-ins there are or downld xtra.
