Hi I was currently using the version previous to the new released v4.6.0 and started having major problems. Everytime I started Limewire it asked if I wanted to download the new update. I would click yes and nothing would happen. I even tried the update link showing up at the bottom of the program and that did not work. So I just kept downloading until finally 3 of my movies that i was downloading (60 to 90% done) showed up as aborted. I could not find these movies in the download folder. Where have they gone. I have since upgraded to new ver. Also there are some incomplete folders that are half downloaded movies. The files begin with T and several numbers, is there anyway to recover and start downloading again??
Hope someone can help

Hmmm not sure have you gone to the LimeWire library and highlighted the incomplete folder. This will show you the incomplete files. Highlight one of the files then click on the resume. This should move it back to the d/l window.
It would be best to do a manual search in the search window to see if you can locate the file to see if any hosts have it available for d/l, before you tried the resume option I mentioned above. Better to have sources/hosts available when you resume this way it should automaticaly start to d/l from where it left off. |
