cant download limewire

I already have limewire but when i click yes to update version 1.6d, I go through all the downloading and everything, then it doesnt work. It just asks me if I want to download version1.6d again.
Please email me back to let me know what I do.

It might be best to remove the old version and try the new version 1.7.

The download is located in "LimeWire Beta Program" at the top of the page in LimeWire forums

Lots of problems in the older versions are addressed in the latest 1.7.

I'm using 1.7 now and it has some great features - including chat!

But we need more people to d/l it so we can chat.
