verifying file stops at 99%
when my download is verifying it stops at 99% and the lime wire freezes.

I don't quite understand what you are saying. Does LimeWire itself freeze or does the d/l freeze.
A little more information is needed also. Computer type & CPU Operating System & sp HDD RAM Firewalls LimeWire Version Java Version Thank you |

gateway windows 98 ram is 128mb norton internet security firewall the most up to date jave dont' know what version lime wire version is 4.8.0 |
