Default verifying file stops at 99%
when my download is verifying it stops at 99% and the lime wire freezes.

I don't quite understand what you are saying. Does LimeWire itself freeze or does the d/l freeze.

A little more information is needed also.

Computer type & CPU
Operating System & sp
HDD
RAM
Firewalls
LimeWire Version
Java Version

lime wire freezes

gateway windows 98 ram is 128mb norton internet security firewall
the most up to date jave dont' know what version
lime wire version is 4.8.0
