Hello,

I have just recently purchased LimeWire PRO and have continually gotten Pop-up Ads!! This was never a problem before installing the software......how can I fix this?

The official LW version has no ad stuff. You did get LW from here didn't you: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml Do you have ad-ware? Do you have a decent anti-virus program with updated definitions?

Yes, I did download PRO from that location.

I do have an updated anti-viris protection (Norton) on my system....just very strange that I never had a problem with pop-up ads till installing limewire pro.

It is possible that you may have d/l a file that had that stuff attached to it. LimeWire pro is clean.

I have d/l files before that had nasty things attached. I would suggest d/l the programs LotR has suggested. It has kept this comp. healthy.

I would also suggest you search(upper right) the forums here for --- spammers ---, and particular file types.
