Sometimes when I check my upload-view I can see that there're uploads which aren't complete uploaded, but lw says that the upload was okay/complete. It's only a part of the uploads.

Am using limewire 4.8.1 Pro, working on port 6999 (forwarded by upnp) with speedtouch 510 v4 modem and linksys wrt54g hub. (upnp enabled on both).

Have granted lw full access in zonealarm pro 5.5.062.011 (latest)
(bittorrent works fine for me (> 100kb)) so it cannot be a router or firewall problem I think because bt use upnp too.)

The problem is not program related, even with lw 4.8.1 (pro) I have got this problemwhile somebody with bearshare gets the file 100% complete.

Further I am using winxp sp2 full updated and mcafee virusscan enterprise 8.0i.

You may just be one of several hosts a user is d/l from. This would be normal. The user only gets the part of the file they need from your shared folder, and the rest from other users.

Thats maybe an answer, but sometimes people re-download the file when its incomplete uploaded. SO they listen to the file, they hear the file is incomplete and try again.

I guess that would depend on the type of file ie. mp3, m4a, mpg, avi., and what they are using to play said file with. Are you sure they are u/l the same file and not another.

And how would you know there file is incomplete, unless you are "hacking" into there comp., or the file your sharing is incomplete on purpose to see this.

The other alternative would be you have experienced this on your d/l, in which case the host you d/l from, may not have checked the file, and doesn't know.

I upload >95% mp3's which I haven't download from lw but with usenet. So the change is very very small that the same file is in the gnutella network.

I just see in my statusbar of lw that the upload is completed but the uploadbar I see is <100%.

Ah I understand now I think. In LW tools>options>uploads>basic>clear uploads>Auto-clear uploads ---- make sure this box is checked ---- click apply then okay

It looks like your completed uploads are not being cleared when they finish.
