Question pc freezes and crashes
during downloads my pc crashes freezes up help is there somethingi can do to stop this or must i permenatly delete limewire?

Computer type and CPU
Operating system and sp (MAC,Win98)
HDD
RAM
Firewalls
LimeWire Version
Java Version
Modem type and model no.
Router type and model no.
Connection type (Dialup,ADSL,DSL,Cable)

Pc : 1.51mhz
os: win xp
hdd: maxtor 160 gb ultra
ram: 1056+
graphic : nvidia 5600 se
firewall : windows internet explorer&
zone labs (which was disabled)
modem: cable
limewire ver:4.8.1.0
java:4.1.01

Try changing your display from 32 bit color to 16 bit color and see if that helps.

Seems like this has helped others withe the problem, until Nvidia comes out with some new updated drivers.
