Max download speed is only 20KB/s for limewire ?????

hello there

i am using limewire pro 4.8.1 and the max speed i reach for downloads is around 20BK/s not more !!! ??? cant limewire go over 20 what is the max download rate for limewire.

my connection is ADSL 256KB/s (download) and 64KB/s upload
