 Are you downlding off other LW users or is it Shareraza (Raza) clients or others. Raza is known to be very slow! Can you give us a total desciption of your set up: 1. im using win xp 2. i use windows firewall. I opened my firewall, i don't use it. 3. 256 of ram 4. 10 gigs of free space 5. using dsl broadband. My max dl speed is around 100kb/s 6 using ZTE ZXDSL 831 modem, i use bridge mode to connect(use windows to connect), not router mode, i i dont need to forward the ports/ 7. i connect from home 8. My LW version is 4.8.1 basic. Java is 1.4.2 9. I'm from Malaysia. my isp provider is Streamyx. i had a fren who is also using the same isp provider. He doesn't have any problem downloading. 10. this is a new problem with an experienced user.  |
