 XP rhad mininum requirements as to the speed and ram capacity of your computer, 128 MB of ram for XP is insufficent. XP needs at leasr 256MB and 512 is highly recommended. I am guessein you upgraded the OS from 98SE oe ME. I see this alot. Limewire is a memory hungry program. See the problem ? XP and LW are fighting for thre same territory in your ram. PLUS LW runs best on 1ghz computers or better. Happy hunting.  |
