I accidently downloaded a Trojan Horse today (which AdAware caught). It was identified as TR/Crypt.E. It was hiding in the game downloads and, upon closer inspection of other searches, there are lots of files coming up exactly 765.5 KB, on all speeds and I've noticed that they're usually listed as single hosts.
Could this be one reason why we're suddenly seeing so few multiple hosts on our searches? These viruses are crowding the out or being spread through many hosts? (Trying to "Browse Host" didn't help much - they wouldn't let me browse). Anyway, look carefully before you download and maybe avoid any unusually repetive files. Any of you who know more about this stuff have any further advice? Thanks and good luck. |
