Default Just wanted to let you know, Limewire

that after taking 12 hours of my time to download what I thought would be an excellent movie, considering the reviews I have seen of it, that the file you now have marked as "Hostage, Bruce Willis, which is 686 megs, is nothing more than a cheap and sleezy X-rated film which I wouldn't let anyone in my entire house, let alone myself watch. And then people wonder and aks what is wrong with this site, its files, and download procedures, and then proceed to switch from this to BearShare. Is there any doubt left as to the answer to that question? I think not.
It's really sad that you do not screen your files for content, and to assure that they are in fact the correct files which are being uploaded to your site. Now, think about this for one minute if you can do so. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WERE SOMEONE UNDERAGE TO OBTAIN THAT FILE? And what position would that put you in? Maybe that might actually give you some food for thought to reengineer your programming and the way you screen your files, although we already know you don't, nor does it seem that you could care less if you do so or not.
For me, I will switch back to BearShare once again as at the very least there I know that I can get some decient files, some decent download times, and files that are well over the 90% mark of being uncorrupted or with viruses attached to them or in them.

1. Movie download issues

2. Bitzi Web Lookup ... Check up on the file so you can find out if it's a good file to get.

Whitewolf4658, neither LimeWire nor BearShare provide or host any files. You can download exactly everything what other people share. Just like your ISP has absolutely no control over or influence on web sites. They provide access to the network, that's all.

Default filename doesn't match content

Whitewolf4658,

Like the previous reply stated, LimeWire does NOT provide the files you downloaded, only the connection.

The person you should be p**sed at is the scumbag that renamed the porn flick and put it in his/her shared folder. Limewire does a search of all currently attached users for filenames based on your search criteria and reports back those sites that match. They have no idea what is in the file and couldn't correct it anyway..it's not a file on their system. As another reply posted , preview the file after 1-2% has downloaded to make sure it's what you wanted. I understand your response about underage users downloading porn but every society has it's creeps. Besides they can get it from real porn sites even easier.
