This is usually due to the sources you're downlding from. Make sure your LW has full access thru your firewall. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then your firewall is partially blocking your LW. Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link) For some tips & some xtra skills on using LW, see the following page & see all of the off-shoot links: To continue files downlding (click on link) To test to see how fast you can get then try out a magnet link to downld: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml To see how fast another member was able to get these files, see Stief’s example: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...692#post138692 |

What speed plan are you on? Try one of the speed tests on this page: http://www.t1shopper.com/tools/speedtest/#A Try another here: http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedtest.asp (this is a good one) It's strange you couldn't get faster for the magnet link if you have a very fast connection. Remember 53 KB/s is equivalent to 424 kbps however you're going to lose some speed due to overheads (such as how far away you are from the exchange, or local traffic.) |

i done the test as u asked and the result is: Direction Actual Speed True Speed (estimated) Downstream 382 Kbps (47.8 KB/sec) 412 Kbps (inc. overheads) Upstream 98 Kbps (12.3 KB/sec) 105 Kbps (inc. overheads) i'm from australia - sydney and using ADSL my plan is 12gb speed is 512/128 now i'm trying to dowenload song i have 8 host and speed is 9KB/s |
