![]() My problem is with the connections and downloads being halted. Symptoms are: Start download of audio file from another computer and things run resasonably smoothly, then after about 10 minutes and some of the file has downloaded the Speed in the lower Search panel shows 0KB/s and does not change for several hours. Trying to Force Resume has no effect. When I check the Connections it shows somewhere between 500 and 1000 hosts and under the connection tab it is trying to connect to 6 IP addresses with at least 3 connected with transfer rates between 0.5 and 3KB/s. I do notice that this is not stable and that it is always trying to make new connections. My system is an Athlon 700MHz running Windows 98 second edition, with Zone Alarm personal firewall and an ADSL connection (128k down/56k up). I have tried turning the firewall off but this makes no difference, The only thing that fix the stall is closing Limeware 1.7 and reopening. I have turned off all power save features and the screen saver. I have checked all the available forums but have seen nothing to help. Can anyone help? |

You are most likely not using a firewall. To make a CD, you need CD creation software, like Nero or Easy CD Creator. Do you have either of these? Once you tell me what software you are using, we can go from there. Good luck! P.S. Spam is junk mail. You get physical junk mail in your mailbox at home, and spam is junk mail in your e-mail inbox. :-) |

![]() I am using Limewire 1.7 on a celeron 566 with windows 98se. I use a 56K modem. Uploads about a quarter of the time are stalling with the download rate at 0.0%. Also uploads are stalling at times usually with 3 files being downloaded and all of them stalled when I have only set 1 file to be uploaded at a time. If I kill the uploads or clear inactive uploads uploading won't work at all so i have to restart limewire. |
